Feature request, select by lines too about choose

Thanks for your feature request. I think I would encourage you to use sed for this purpose. I feel that sed does an adequate job of providing this functionality and there is no need to copy/reimplement it. However I will leave this issue open for a bit and if there is sufficient interest from others I will reconsider.

Here is an example of getting the same result using sed. Note that sed does use 1-indexed line numbers.

$ echo "a b c d
e f g
h i j" | sed -n 2p | choose 1
f
