SiriControl

SiriControl is an open source framework designed with developers in mind. It provides a simple way of using Siri commands by dynamically loading modules created by the user. This means that you can add voice controlled capability to any project, with Siri.

• No extra hardware required as the commands are being sent through the iOS device
• Runs on any computer with python installed – the Raspberry Pi is especially good as you can make it control anything around you. The possibilities are endless with your imagination being the limit.
• It is beginner friendly with minimal setup required – I have provided step by step instructions on how to set it up. It is written in python which is quite an easy language to pick up.
• You will get the power of Siri’s fantastic speech recognition capabilities, and will be able to use it from anywhere in the world, as long as your device has an internet connection.

Socket error after waiting a day or hours.

on my pi i have working siricontrol-system but after waiting a bit, sometimes it gives socket error. is there anything to solve it ?

Message encoding breaks on accented letters

Tested it on spanish:

Said probando otra cosa más
Script received: probando otra cosa m=c3=a1s=

I don't know if it never actually uses utf-8 which is assumed by the script or rather it depends on the phone. You might be able to detect encoding (?)

iPhone not always syncing notes with gmail account

First of all I want to say that I'm in love with your SiriControl-system.
It's genius! There are so many possibilities. I already have plenty ideas in my head.

I just encounter a small problem with the synchronisation of my notes.
My iPhone doesn't always sync my notes to my gmail account.
When I delete my gmail account and reconfigure my gmail account on my iPhone it works again.

Move fetch interval to a constant on top for easier configuration

To short for a whole PR hehe

+interval = 1

-time.sleep(1)
+time.sleep(interval)

Provide a flag to have the script delete any note that was recognized

Rewrite using Siri shortcuts and https://github.com/adnanh/webhook

I think this approach is more flexible, easier to use, and more robust.
