Maybe html() should pass on ... to httr::GET()?

Makes sense to me; that'd also indirectly give access to things like timeout options. I'll write up a quick patch now.

Which is more obfuscated, not in keeping with the stylings of httr and related packages, and requires changing the global settings for that session each time.
