I got the same error. My ticket was previously closed because the maintainer said I should be making POST requests to that url.
My biggest issue is that I would like to use the api browser which is broken for all the routes in this module!

Well, if that is the case, i'd make the argument that the view should not return a TypeError, but some sort of "method not allowed". But my vote is for properly supporting the DRF's browseable API.

+1 for browable API... This is the main advantage of DRF, and the demo should use it instead of serving custom templates

I am using v 0.8.1 and still don't see endponts under browsable API root
