1. Server's hosting can block UDP queries.
2. You can type wrong query port.
3. If you use router - it need to set up port forwarding.

More likely an addon (assuming you are using rehlds) than the host issue. See if you are running any plugin's that block queries. Check your game.cfg or the config file if your server is a rehlds server.
