You should check the official documentation for a http.Response object. Needle's response object is basically Node's, with a few additional things like .body or .bytes.

I don't think I've ever seen something like statusMessage, by the way. Maybe you're referring to statusCode?

oh, snap, before I did that, it turns out, statusMessage on the http module must be a feature of Node v.11. not your fault! thanks a bunch. 😆
