I don't have a good solution, but if you're not using many different versions of readable-stream in your deptree, you can use the hack here: mvayngrib@9917779 i'm afraid it's pretty ugly - setting a global StreamModule var on the first pass and using it on the second

Thanks for the prompt response @mvayngrib. I was a bit baffled about it not replacing the correct thing and i just noticed its because those last changes are not on npm. Are you planning on pushing those anytime soon?

@gabceb a bit reluctant to publish, but you can always install from github. Thing is, most of the other "hacks" are not hacks so much as compatibility fixes, whereas this WILL break things if there are multiple versions of readable-stream in the dep tree.
