I am focused on being a product-focused iOS developer these days. My academic background is Creative Technologies & Design and Aerospace Engineering while I have professional experience as an engineer, teacher, communicator, and more. Below are some of my largest, most recent, and favorite projects.
iOS Apps
- No Place to Go -- My first paid app gig was for a socially distanced haunted house
- So Much Coffee -- I first learned Swift+SwiftUI while creating this app as the subject of M.S. thesis project so that I could finally find and enjoy coffee shops the way I wanted
- Point One K -- I created this app while studying the Ultimate Portfolio App course from Paul (IMO, "The King") Hudson
- Torn Assistant -- An app to track and manage copious notifications related to the online crime game Torn
- Wild Camp -- Find the right USFS map at the right time for dispersed camping
- Awesome Timer -- Keep track of all the times you did something awesome
- Gravelmap -- Creating an iOS native version of gravelmap.com
Interactive Art Installations
- Permutate -- LED-illuminated touch-reactive inflatable sculpture that was first displayed in public at Canal Convergence 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona
- Intervening Substance -- Two related installations of an inflatable sculpture that can be activated by performers' movements (with NFC) or guests' interactions (sound and touch)
- Earth Wear -- A solar-powered, motion-sensing, and sound-emitting art installation that has been delivered to the artist but is waiting for its true day in the Sun
- Gravity Well Museum Exhibit -- Less art, more science, but still an interactive visualization installed at Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City, Utah utilizing C++ in openFrameworks.
