I lost half of the favorite entries about gnome-shell-extension-clipboard-indicator

@EmanuelAlexandru I looked around. This extension appears to be seldom updated due to the author's limited time. However, there is a rewrite of this extension by another person at https://github.com/SUPERCILEX/gnome-clipboard-history. It supposedly fixes this problem, among others. I am trying that now.

I have the same problem. I lost all my favourite entries 😩😩😩 Please make a local daily backup.

I don't think there is anyway to recover them unfortunately 🙁

One culprit could be the "Max cache file size" in the extension settings. Try setting it to a higher value. Note that a large cache file might cause the extension to run very slowly.

Regarding a daily backup — I will gladly review & merge a PR that implements this feature. Unfortunately I have no time to work on this myself.

OP here. I lost half of them again. Saving important clipboard notes on a notepad for now.

@EmanuelAlexandru how many clipboard items do you have in your clipboard?
Also, did you try increasing the "max cache file size" option in the settings?
