It looks like kin-openapi, which we rely on internally to load openapi specs, is failing to load the file.
In order to make progress, we need to verify that this is indeed the problem, and if so, to open an issue with https://github.com/getkin/kin-openapi.
You are welcome to do this yourself, or to send me the file privately and I will do it.

Thanks for the info. The files are 50k formatted lines of json which makes it tricky to identify where the issue lies. I'll have a play with kin and get that to dump debug info. I'll post back here in the next few days.
