When the right click menu is used to start streams, it might not always be clear what is happening. Alternative tray icons could make this clear.

The following error should be handled:
The default player (VLC) does not seem to be installed. You must specify the path to a player executable with --player.

Add an option to filter which stream services should be shown in the drop-down menu.

DSer should restart stream after seeing messages like:

[stream.hls][error] Failed to open segment 515: Unable to open URL: http://123.111.232.13/bts/data/96347753/96347753-515.ts (404 Client Error: Not Found)

The user should have an option to hide Dopestreamer in the notification area when minimized.

Maybe some credits, too.

Dopestreamer stops when it encounters this:

It highlights the channel box as if it's a channel that doesn't exist.

There should be a visual notice of available updates

com.dopelives.dopestreamer.shell.Shell should be extended for a Mac OS X environment.

Add option to not show taskbar icon for the Dopestreamer window.

Livestreamer should be started and tracked. Upon ending, media player should also be stopped.

When an old version is installed, the user should be notified.

E.g., add preferred media player to arguments when starting Livestreamer through livestreamer:// URLs

Within the settings, the media player should be manually selectable so that Livestreamer's configuration doesn't have to be changed manually by the user.

Perhaps by trying different streaming services in a round-robin fashion.

The user should be able to watch several streams and be able to end them separately.

Perhaps from the IRC topic.

There should be a checkbox that automatically starts the default stream when Dopestreamer is opened.

Dopestreamer should be able to update itself

Add a settings tab/window.

On Viilipurkki's setup, this message was given:
Error: could not open*C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\amd64\jvm.cfg

First I tried to tune in to kimjye [8] on Afreeca, no stream was found (correct). I stop that and then tried to tune into sehee3235 [9] and for some reason it loaded johnsuitepee [10] on Twitch which I had previously watched. [10] started by itself and [9] stopped by itself. MPC-HC which [9] launched didn't get killed.

Exception is still being thrown after restart of Dopestreamer but it seems to work fine so far.

There should be an viewer count in the main stream which sums the Hitbox, Vacker live and Vacker restream viewcounts.

Currently user has no way to know if the button was actually clicked.

After a certain time, LSer should be restarted to speed up the process.

Add all supported stream services and keep the list up to date.

Dopestreamer is using ~90MB RAM. This should be reduced.
