The docs(last sentence of the page as of writing) even provide something to copy paste now, but argue it is not already provided because it is so simple to write...
I don't want to know how many versions of it exist...

structuring how/where to put these useful helper types. right now a bit unclear whether to put it in basic or advanced, and in which section. has all been done piecemeal by contributors for now. but someday we'll have to think about it from a high level readability point of view.

The suggested version of Omit is already present in quite some sections in the ADVANCED.md, I guess this way they are "self containing" but it is also quite some repetition.
If it is just about getting rid of the Diff and replacing it with Exclude, what is the "restructuring part about @sw-yx ?
