Well this is how JavaScript works... it gives you back an object by reference.

If you don't want that behavior, you should use deep copy (what you called clone).

PS: you could have odd behavior if you pass directly objects from one taffy database to another

from taffydb.

Is this really how taffydb should work? REALLY? Is this the intended behavior? So why do we have set, merge, update and all these?
