What is the problem in serializing the data yourself? Seriously, I'm asking. I'm using JSON.stringify(db().get());

I second this question. I know that TaffyDB is billed as the "In-Memory" JS Database. But if it provided efficient serialization methods (toJSON, and fromJSON -- or even better, binary memory dump). This would be super useful.

I am looking to implement exactly this and will be looking at TaffyDB's source to see if I can extend this particular capability.

Has anyone implemented the serialization for persistence?

TaffyDB data is not persistentt...It only works for a single page web application or mobile app. Its a database by name only :)

Just db.store(). It'll try localStorage.
