We don't provide 1 gpu config file, I think you might be using the 16gpu config file which requires Horovod. Please modify the 4gpu config by following this: #9 (comment) if you want to use 1 GPU

After reading the issue - it seems that we need python 3.7 and not 3.6 - if so, can you update the README with the same? I will try recompiling with 3.7 and see if it executes.

Also, just to try and be consistent - which CUDA version are you using?

I think you misread the issue. And I use python 3.6 and CUDA 9.1.

If the code cannot execute on your side please post essential information/output here.

getting error similar to issue #9 - i have compiled with python 3.6 and cuda 9.1; i have only 1 GPU - did the suggested changes. I am trying to run for COCO dataset.
