What version of the game have you tested?

Oh I just realised that --version works I probably did a typo earlier.
version 2017.2; might be kind of outdated !
I installed the game through apt-get isntall though, is it to be expected that it's the 2017 version?
Anyways, thanks for the quick answer and tahnks everyone for the good work !

Yeah the last one is 2019.1
But this version will get no new release. Because we are working to port it to the godot engine.

yeah I'm building from the sources and I'll try to replicate the crash. Should I close the issue?

If you have the same bug with lastest git version you could post the crash report. But I think we had disable units on lastest version.
