Hi,

The sparsebundle code is used by HFSExplorer (development version), but the sparsebundle support is currently limited to non-encrypted sparsebundles. Sparse bundle encryption is currently not supported because it differs significantly from regular UDIF encryption. I never found time to figure out how to decode an encrypted sparse bundle, but maybe somebody else out there has figured out how to do that... please search around for some information and if you find any then please notify me so I can complete the sparse bundle support.

Also DMGExtractor hasn't been adapted to work with sparse bundles, but that should be a quite simple task.

Ahh, I had (apparently mistakenly) assumed that the crypto format would be the same for an encrypted sparse image as the concatenated sparse bundle bands. Without the ability to decrypt the sparsebundle it won't really do me any good. Thanks for the info!

Support for encrypted sparsebundles is now in HEAD (exact commit: ca5b4ff). Closing this issue.
