Yes indeed, after a call before_insert right attribute not set. I think add to TreesManager after_flush event with forced calling session.expire(t0, ['left', 'right']) function.

I was trying to do that earlier this week, but I got stuck on this...

BTW, after_flush is not enough, objects are not persisted yet when it is fired; one would have to use after_flush_postexec. Also make sure to then use inspection to check if the parent was already loaded.

I can probably go ahead with that tomorrow or early next week.
