work on this can be followed in the vs2012 branch (https://github.com/USCiLab/cereal/tree/vs2012)

Renaming this issue and refocusing the effort from Visual Studio 2012 November CTP to Visual Studio 2013 Preview. The features coming in 2013 preview are good enough to get support for cereal going.

This is almost done - have polymorphism working just need to compile unit tests and hope for the best at this point. (also need to compile performance.cpp and then make sure everything still works on linux)

All of the sandboxes are compiling and working properly. Unittests is compiling but not linking against boost properly. Boost is kind of a huge pain to get working properly on VS 2013 preview.

Unit tests passing with vs 2013 preview 32 bit release compilation, see de137bb

WIth b48f57c VS support is complete and passing unit tests (32 and 64 bit). Going to do a final round of code cleanup and look over the few small changes that had to be made before closing this.

Finished and tested on both linux and windows as of commit ba35055. Will close after this gets merged into develop.

Merged into develop (373594e) closes this.
