That's a screenshot from Insiders. Is it the same in Stable (blue). They have separate locations for configuration/cache/extensions.

The same way as in Insiders. Just execute Preferences: Open Settings (UI) from the command palette from Stable (blue icon) vscode

or Ctrl+, / ⌘+,

My best guess is either one of the installed extensions is crashing or something is wrong with installation of vscode.

You can try to run those commands:

1. Developer: Show Running Extensions

Will show running extensions sorted by activation time (and, possibly, exceptions)

2. Developer: Toggle Developer Tools

Will show thrown exceptions.

I have installed this Developer: Show Running Extensions It has updated some plugins.
But issue is still there.

Developer: Show Running Extensions and Developer: Toggle Developer Tools are commands. You run them to see if an extension takes too long to run or has exceptions.

Still I have not found any solution for this. I have to open VS Code Insider to remove empty lines from the code.
Do you have still any solution for this? else I will disable and remove this add-on.

@nirmalsinghoo7 I cannot reproduce this issue.

Done some refactoring just now: 7833758 . VSCode version required 1.56 for the new version of extension. Maybe it will change something or maybe not.
