3g and EDGE options are greyed out for me (using cingular/atnt in US) and siprdoid registration over wifi fails about sipdroid

Phone companies know that software like this will threat their monopolies, so, 
the
pressured Google to ban this type of products from the market, as pmerle71 
said, you
need to download the full version of sipdroid from here:
