Signing is already applied. Do you need any custom configuration?

Yeah, I need to add some custom configuration in order to tell the signing plugin that I want to use a GPG agent rather than giving Gradle my private key passphrase directly.

Can you give an example?

subprojects {
  signing {
    useGpgCmd()
    sign publishing.publications.mavenJava
  }
}

The useGpgCmd() method is defined by the signing plugin and instructs it to use a GPG agent rather than trying to read the private key password from gradle.properties.

Can't you just simply add the above snippet to your Gradle file and everything should just work?
