If 7zip supports decompressing it simply make a package definition and I'll add the remaining needed code.

note for posterity: it works for the installed version of 7zip but not the portable version which is more limited :)
it has been suggested to the author at http://rationalqm.us/hdr/ to consider zip files or something, in order to assist with compatibility.
possibly, it may be prudent to note it in the readme or maybe recommend against .rar ?

I've recommended about 20 different things already, including 7z archives, but nobody cares. This is what happens when you try to staple a package system to an existing reality. Recommendation: pain.
