@newtoniumx3 there's been some talk on how to do something like that with Three.js here: mrdoob/three.js#1826

But no, currently it's not possible to select multiple elements like that inreact-force-graph.
Perhaps in the future if there's a performant way to do it.

Is there anyway to do this with the 2d graph? I get that it might be overly complex (and likely a confusing ux) for the 3d version. I know the example is svg-based and this library is canvas-based, but maybe d3-brush could still be used somehow? I only see SVG elements mentioned in the docs, so maybe I'll open a ticket.
