Expired Domains about yhosts

Expired domains is always one of my concerns and I actually asked my friend to update a tool for me to check expired domains. However, I haven't heard any updates yet.

Since I have to delete them manually and I have 2 files, I'm not going to delete them for my update today. I'm planning to delete them in the next 2 updates. This issue will remain open until it is fully addressed.

I tried to started working on it. However, I noted that some of the cancelled domains is up again. I'm not going to address this until I can use the tool I'm waiting for. This issue will remain open until then.

The goal is still to remove expired domains.

So, does that mean if the tool you are waiting for is unavailable, then no invalid domains will be removed?

I just followed up with my friend, the tool has not been developed yet.
There's a pull request that I'm trying to introduce. Hopefully I can merge it and resolve all these.
One of the issue I have is I have to verify and remove every single one of them manually as I'm not a programmer.

A small tip: the issue you have with the Whois records also exists with the pull request. As you said, "I have to verify and remove every single one of them manually."

So, the key point, in my view, is do you trust PyFunceble, or more specifically the person who submit the request. If the issue/pull request is submitted by someone you trust, the result may become different.

Anyway, I hope you will merge the pull request.

A few points here:

1. I have done a few spot check and I'm not able to ping all the ones I have checked so far.
2. I will do manual spot check for that pull request. I'm planning at least 10%.
3. I appreciate the file you provide. However, having the pull request really save a lot of my time since I have to spend hours on removing those domains manually for two files. Sometimes I just feel so bad about not being a programmer since I don't know how to do all these more efficiently.

Just ping to determine whether the domains are alive is unreliable. But if you insist doing so, there is a bat from 2010 can save you lots of time.

Just replace the value of 'fnm=' and 'lnm=' with anything you like, save it as a .bat and run it with 'administrative rights'. The 'websites.txt' includes the domains you want to test, and the 'results.txt' will be generated automatically.
