Examples :

$role = new Role();
$role->name = "Test";
$role->save();

Does not log to revision table.


$role = Role::find(1); // the id of the created role from above
$role->name = "New test";
$role->save();

This gets logged properly in revision table.


Role::destroy(1);

Does not log to revisions table.

No, this does not cater for creates / deletes. They aren't considered "revisions".
The initial idea was that things like create / delete would be stored in a separate activity log , this is purely for differentiating two versions of a single model.
