I'm interested in this one as well, I'm not getting what I'd call HD material anymore
from tvshows.

I agree with the original post, but looking at the commit d7d1ba5 this seems to already be solved. Only titles containing 720 or 1080 will be downloaded as HD material.
I can't comment on how it works, because the last version is unusable for me for other reasons.
