If you don't mind i can help here a bit.

For example i started a keyboard file:

MK3SIM Keys:
w 			= Knob counter clock wise
s 			= Knob couter wise
Enter 	= Knob pressed
r			= RESET BUTTON
t			= Hold the button during boot to get factory reset menu
y			= Steel sheet placed/removed
f			= IR 0.4 Filament sensor triggered /not triggered
g			= IR voltage to 4.9V to detect disconnected/broken wire.
p			= Simulate Power Panic triggered
d 			= Debug
1			= LCD orange/default
r 			= Starting VCD trace (disabled)
s 			= Stopping VCD trace (disabled)
q			= quit MK3SIM

absolutely! that's very useful - please feel free to push it up as KeyControls.md or a similar readme! (I'm doing a best effort on the source code itself as part of #87 to add comments to functions and header files).

you're more than welcome to contribute where you like - I will start making more effort to keep issues I am working on assigned to me and labelled 'in progress' to avoid two people unintentionally working on the same thing.
