Hi, sorry for the late notice. I was caught up with some work. I realized that the pg-promise works as expected, so sorry for wasting your time 🙁
I guess the problem comes from my lack of knowledge of Postgres which I will not bother you with 😅

You need to figure out what in the final query isn't as expected, before any suggestion is possible. Possibly, you are just missing type casting (cast: 'jsonb'
), but can't say for sure till you verify this.

Well, it isn't expected that the query throws the error since I expected the formatting to work. It seems like the formatting doesn't work for the update() method, but I might be wrong. It works for the insert() method though.

You provide invalid input for ColumnSet
, you get errors thrown for thus incorrect query. The formatting works as specified. As I explained earlier, you need to check what is missing in the output query to make it correct, and what you wrote isn't helpful here.

Closing, due to lack of details. Invalid formatting can only be addressed based on actual query vs expectation, which the author did not want to provide. 😕
