Problem with input associated to a dynamic value about discussion

One issue is you are not setting a binding to the input box via v-model. Also I would try and get away from your dependency of jQuery as generally its not needed at all with Vue.

value="{{value}} results in a one-way only binding. Use v-model="value" for 2-way binding. Some typecasting would be needed though.
