I don't think there's an equivalent solution out there for Vue at the moment, so you probably need to roll your own in the form of a custom directive.

Estimating own implementation I have met interesting issue. Calling vm.$set(autoKey, value) doesn't result in triggering directive.update(value). I guess, a reason is the same DOM element is given to jQuery UI widget to make own mechanics. I have found a workaround - just ending bind with self.vm.$watch(self.key, self._update.bind(self)) where _update is that 'update I wasn't able to trigger.

Has anybody got similar crossing of interests? :)
