To clarify, you mean something like a -r option to vugugen which would run on each child directory? Would there be a need to file (either include or exclude) child directories? It does generally sound useful but I'm concerned there might be unintended side effects to implement this, or at least it would be better to understand the use cases in more detail first.

I'll definitely keep the issue open though and we can see how this fits in once a few more example applications are built and the build environment is better understood.
