Hi, I've tried to follow your instruction as follows:

$ conda create –n new_env python==3.8
$ conda activate new_env
(new_env) $ pip install --upgrade pip
(new_env) $ pip install wandb
(new_env) $ python -c "import wandb; wandb.login()"

Hi @6894556, thanks for sharing this information! In the same dir where you are executing your notebook, could you please try to remove the wandb dir and executing it again? Also, I'd recommend checking where is your wandb package installed with either:

import wandb
print(wandb.__file__)

or

pip show wandb | grep Location

Is there a right dir to install? I've used new_env to run my notebook and !pip show | wandb | grep Location said wandb is in new_env.
