When the Sass compiles, it should resolve the size of the avatar on the blog detail page so that they are 65px x 65px.

The Sass now compiles properly with Node Sass. It still reports a compilation error, however changes in the Sass partials results in the corresponding changes in the CSS files and the browser renders the changes as expected.

The reason this is happening is because the compiler scans over the scss
directory and processes all of the files that have a .scss
extension and of course ignoring the partials.
It loops over the directory processing the directories themselves first, therefore the first .scss
file it encounters is the styles.scss
file.
When it processes this file, the variables declared in theme-3.scss
are not yet available to the partials files that are processed as a result of the imports pulling those partials into styles.scss
, therefore the resulting message from both of the tools.
A solution is simply to list all of the imports within the theme folder rather than using another .scss
file as an intermediary to do the imports.
