Really the only important thing that needs to be done is fix the OpenGL Renderer. After that games will still be slow but some games could be playable. I'd estimate a few months at the worst but it could be a few days if I or someone else was able to fix it

So this is the GameCube/Wii emulator for iOS that @WilliamLCobb is focusing on. I want to help test it.
Have you tried using the GLkit from Apple? Do not ask me how to add/embed that into an Xcode project because I don't know how.

The only problem now is that it crashes after loading.
Do I need a bios or something?

I've commited non working version a few times recently by accident. It should be more stable now. And yea JIT is going to be hard but it's looking kind of possible. If the next jailbreak allows JIT it will work amazing. All that needs to be done now are codesigning workarounds.

I don't think it will load on anything with less than 2GB. It maayyyy run on a 6 but you should close every other application. What devices are you guys using?

It won't run on the iPhone 5s unfortunately. But the iPad Air 2 will be able to.

I am using iPad Air iOS 9.0.1 (jailbroken).
I think it's crashing because of loading starfield.dol.
I'm downloading a rom now but I need to know where to put it.

That was done with an emulator streaming app instead of running on the phone.

And I'm about to make a system to add roms through Xcode or dowload

I think the crash is due to the permissions not right which can be changed through ifile. Can you tell the directory of the Hombrew demo so I may check it out. It too crashes on my device iPhone 6 iOS 8.1. Let's hope iPhone 7 offers 4gb ram and 2.2+ single core clock. Will that be good?

Well congratulations on porting dolphin on iOS. By the way for further improvement u might wanna contact the developers of play! I don't mean that exclusively for the improvement of dolphin but also for improvement of play! Since that emu is facing some issues u seem to have resolved on dolphin. Any way lookong forward to controls. Ooh and I hope they are not as messy as the ones on android

I don't know but somehow cydia won't install dolphin. As the download bar completes it just stays there and nothing happens. I subscribed to a 250mb data package and on just two attempts with a little waiting it reached just 6 mb remaining. What's up? Is there any rom included or something wrong with my device. Any one else experiencing this?

Hello, thanks so much for creating this for us. I can’t tell you how much I long to play more than SNES and Sega games, lol. I have an iPhone 6, running the beta of iOS 9.3.3. I cannot jailbreak because I didn’t stick around on an older version of iOS long enough, so I won’t get JIT, but whenever I try to compile or run the code as it was four hours ago, it says “Could not find Developer Disk Image.” Is this a problem I did, or is the code just not ready yet? I hope, though, that this can at least be ran on non-jailbroken devices, as I miss Soul Caliber when away from the Mac, lol.

I have tried Luigis mansion but it crashed so I guess we can't play games just yet.
Hopefully the next update fixes this.

Edit: just tried loading starfield.dol as well and it still crashed

Apperantly his website expired on August 16 2019. So the link doesn't work anymore. It was working when the iOS 12.4 jailbreak came out.
