Well we have good understanding on how things should work right now. The only thing missing is blizzard actually implementing things like they should. So in theory we have everything imlemented as it 'should be'. It just does not align with current beta as stuff like dot roll over is not working yet..

With build 54501 pushed to live, our implementation now seems to match the live version. We might discover some edge cases but I'll close this one for now.

Critical strike chance is no longer snapshot on apply

From testing on dummies on the current build (4.4.0.54558) this does not seem to be true. One can fairly easy test this by applying a dot on a target dummy, waiting till combat is dropped, unequipping all gear and then counting how many of the remaining ones are hits/crits.

Target damage debuffs (i.E. 8% spelldamage) update dynamically and are no longer snapshot

%dmg target debuffs didn't snapshot in wrath either; what DID snapshot was crit % debuffs and I think that's still the case. So the crit chance of a dot is only recalculated after something else refreshes it, not when the crit debuff falls off.
