patool cli not found about patool

It depends on what operating system you have - windows, osx or linux for example. Can you tell me what operating system you are running?

Thanks. I am installing it in on linux centos (under VirtualBox).

If you used sudo pip install patool it should be /usr/bin/patool. You can also try to install by giving the script-directory as an install option:
sudo pip install --install-option="--install-scripts=/usr/bin" patool
