The split between core and addins (plugins, scripts and modules) is done (see #36). However, the framework should be reworked (now is just some functionality around setconf and registry).
In future, most of the addins should be in a new repo. The best should be promoted to this repo inside contrib area.

With version 3.2.3 is much more developed (new features in hook.py) and for now is enough.
