With a custom AnimationController you can control how to play the animation more precisely.
You have the full API of AnimationController class that allows to play it in reverse.

Yeah, that what i eventually ended up doing but it could be more comfortable to just specify a flag :)

Did you notice this property?

bool reverse,

And set your Lottie.asset as follows
repeat: false, reverse: true

EDIT: Now I see that reverse property has a different behavior.

The recommendation is to use a custom AnimationController to have full control on how to run the animation.
