Indeed, it Lions like you're correct. Would it be possible for you to create a new git branch with a failing test that asserts the correct behaviour?

I added a test case to https://github.com/silwol/YAXLib/tree/attribute-with-namespace-test which tests the behavior as I would expect it to work but fails right now.

Thanks for reporting the problem and providing a failing test case. It seems to be a problem from within LINQ-to-XML. I asked a question in stack-overflow to address this.
Currently I have come up with a (relatively costly) workaround, but still I'm waiting to see if better solutions are provided or not.

This problem would be fixed in v2.12 (and is already fixed in the source code if you wish to build directly from source). Thanks again.
