That is pretty much an edge case. Normally you do not need @name
at all, because roxygen2
can automatically figure it out from assignment expressions; however, in this futile.logger
package, the objects are not defined in the "usual" way, e.g. I have no idea about how flog.appender()
was defined; I was expecting something like flog.appender <- function(...)
but that is not present in the source code. I feel its creattion was obfuscated somewhere.
Anyway, the manual changes are fairly simple to do, so I hope they did not bother you too much :) As documented in package?Rd2roxygen
