Drop down box with latest executed commands about mintty

That's quite a nice feature, but it's an issue for a shell, not a terminal, 
which has
no concept of the commands being run inside it. I wouldn't be surprised if Zsh
already had something like this.

Good ol' Bash has some rather clever history features too though, and with 
MinTTY's
support for modifier keys you can bind them to convenient key combinations. For
example, the following lines in .inputrc will make Ctrl-Up and Ctrl-Down skip 
to the
previous or next history line that matches the current line up to the cursor 
position.

  "\e[1;5A": history-search-backward
  "\e[1;5B": history-search-forward
