Android 4.2.2 does not connet to IOIO about ioio

Android 4.2.2 has a new security feature disabling adb. Use OpenAccessory instead.

Correct.
Adding to that: you can use Bluetooth while debugging, so you don't constantly have to turn ADB on/off and switch the USB cable between the PC and the IOIO. Once done developing, your program will seamless work over OpenAccessory as soon as you turn ADB off.

It is also possible to use ADB over wlan. Current solutions to automate this may have a few quirks but they work
