Booking Hack-a-Holiday Manila Edition: The Drunkery

The Idea

As a craft beer drinker, I want to find accommodations with the best beers so I can get drunk more!

• Something novel! There’s already a BreweryDB API!
• Consider what happens after getting drunk: you need a place to crash!
• Optimize this Hackathon for O(FUN)! http://o-fun.github.io/

The Approach

• Integrate Booking.com and BreweryDB!
  • Share common resources for locations
  • Utility Booking.com autocomplete for Instant Search!

The Implementation

• Backend: simple Perl 5 API using Mojolicious!
• Frontend: ReactJS with Material UI and Google Maps!
• Infra: Docker with Compose for multi-container devops!

The Result

• Draw lines between places for Pub crawl!
• Search by Beer!
• Whatever else we can get drunk on!
