I am unsatisfied with how newly created events are handled, before the first time they are marked done. Right now they are essentially always prioritized above other tasks as they have "never been done before" -- though obviously that's usually an accounting fiction, and in practice esp. when I've added a handful of these at the same time it doesn't feel right for them to be treated as urgent. Someone suggested to me that instead, when a task is first added, for the purpose of calculating priority, it is treated as having just come up as due -- so as if it was done the day prior to when it was added. Intuitively I like this; it recognizes the task as needing doing, but seems like it fits into the sorting more cleanly.
