This java app takes in a Git tag name and replicates all changes to a production environment based on path mappings and whether the files were added/modified/removed in the Git repository. This is typically run as a privileged user via a specific sudo command so that standard users cannot modify production files directly, but this app can instead. It generates an email report. It also has a daily mode which generates a diff report between the prod environment and the Git repository.
