The logs say it's using my value for api_base, but then the logs also say it's just calling api.openai.com so it doesn't appear to be using that value.

From your logs it seems this was tested with v0.5.9. We updated some related configuration code since. Does this issue still happen with v0.5.11?

Oh, I was using the brew version but it seems still stuck on 0.5.9. I'll try the cargo install and let you know how it goes.

Yes, please do. However, you probably want to update the version of your tap for homebrew installs, but that's likely a separate issue.
