This repository contains two main folders: frontend and backend. The frontend folder houses a React.js application for the user interface, while the backend folder contains an Express.js server responsible for handling various backend functionalities, including video conferencing capabilities. The project aims to create a teaching platform where instructors can conduct live video classes and interact with students in real-time.
The frontend folder contains all files and assets related to the user interface of the teaching platform. This includes React components, pages, stylesheets, and any other frontend-specific resources.
- User authentication for instructors and students
- Dashboard for instructors to create and manage courses
- Live video conferencing functionality for conducting classes
- Interactive chat interface for communication between instructors and students
The backend folder contains the server-side code for the teaching platform. It handles user authentication, data storage, and communication between clients during video conferencing sessions.
- User authentication using JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
- RESTful API endpoints for managing user accounts and courses
- Database models and schemas for storing user data, course information, and chat messages
- WebSocket integration for real-time communication during video conferencing sessions
