💻 Hacking Stellar (Python Edition) - Early Release

Hacking Stellar (Python Edition) is an open-source e-book on the basics of the Stellar network. It is very much based on and inspired by the e-book Hacking Stellar by 0xfe - except with an emphasis on Python 🐍

Early Release Note: As it stands, this is an early release and will likely be a "living" e-book. Features of the Stellar network and features of the Python Stellar SDK are subject (and likely) to change over time. Code is also likely to be improved or changed over time.

Regarding Testnet Resets: Throughout these chapters I use the Stellar testnet for all examples. Every once in a while the testnet gets reset, deleting all accounts and associated information. This will cause the accounts I used to no longer exist and I'm not sure if it makes sense to constantly fix them. Just something to keep in mind and prepare for as you follow along. What Hacking Stellar Will Teach You

Hacking Stellar will teach you the basics of what you need to know when you start building on Stellar. It will provide scripts and code snippets along the way that will serve as examples as you continue with your experience. Hacking Stellar can also be useful for those looking to dive a little deeper in to some of the technical details surrounding Stellar.

It will not teach you how to build fleshed out, production ready applications or the more advanced concepts around the Stellar network such as account funding, key storage, Stellar smart contracts, etc.
