Prerequisites

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/globalgear.git
    cd globalgear
  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install
    # or
    yarn install
  3. Set up environment variables: Create a .env.local file in the root directory and add the following variables:

    NEXT_PUBLIC_DATABASE_URL=your_neon_database_url
    NEXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID=your_google_client_id
    CLOUDINARY_CLOUD_NAME=your_cloudinary_cloud_name
    CLOUDINARY_API_KEY=your_cloudinary_api_key

    Replace the placeholder values with your actual credentials.

  4. Run the development server:

    npm run dev

    yarn dev
  5. Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

Database Migration

To set up the database schema, run the migration script:

npm run migrate
# or
yarn migrate
